Private by default

Notifications follow iOS settings, including Focus, the mute switch, and Low Power Mode. This is a reminder app, not a system alarm.
Microphone only when you record
The mic is used when you start a recording. The app does not continuously listen in the background.

FAQ
How does Lightning Voice work?
Speak or type a reminder, schedule the time, and the app sets a local notification on your iPhone. When it fires, open it and play your recorded voice note, then mark it Got It.
Does the notification play my full recording?
No. The banner is a short alert. The full voice note plays after you open the reminder. Auto-play can be turned off in Settings.
Will I always be alerted on time?
Notifications follow iOS system settings. Focus modes, mute, Low Power Mode, or denied notification permission can limit alerts. Lightning Voice is not an AlarmKit alarm.
Where are my voice notes stored?
On your device. Deleting the app without a backup erases local content. This version does not sync with iCloud.
Does the app listen all the time?
No. The microphone is used only when you start a recording.
How do I manage Lightning Pro?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore is available on the paywall and in Settings.
