Lightning Voice — Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated: August 19, 2026. This is the functional Terms of Use page linked from the Lightning Voice app and App Store listing.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lightning Voice Reminders mobile application (the “App”), bundle identifier com.zeroordinal.lightningreminder, published by ZeroOrdinal (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, or redistribute the App except as allowed by applicable law. The App and its content remain our property or that of our licensors.

3. What the App Does

Lightning Voice is an on-device voice reminder app. You can create a reminder with an optional title and/or a voice note, schedule a time, and receive a local notification. Opening a due reminder lets you play the voice note and mark it Got It.

The App does not require an account with us and does not provide ZeroOrdinal cloud sync in this version.

4. Notifications and Device Limits

Alerts are local notifications, not AlarmKit alarms. Delivery depends on your iPhone settings, including notification permission, Focus modes, the mute switch, and Low Power Mode. We do not guarantee that every reminder will sound at the scheduled time.

The notification is a short alert. The full voice note plays after you open the reminder.

5. Your Content

Reminders and voice notes you create stay on your device unless you back them up yourself. Deleting the App or erasing the device without a backup may permanently delete that content.

You are responsible for the content you record or type. Do not use the App to store content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to record.

6. Lightning Pro and In-App Purchases

Optional Lightning Pro unlocks only this paid feature: more than 10 reminders enabled at the same time.

The free tier includes the core path: create reminders, record and play in-app voice notes, local notifications, history, and widgets. Storage and system notification limits still apply.

US list prices appear below. Other storefronts convert locally. The Apple purchase sheet is authoritative for the price, trial eligibility, and charge you see.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. After purchase, unused trial time is forfeited when a paid period begins, as shown on the Apple purchase sheet.

Manage or cancel: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Restore Purchases is available in the App on the Lightning Pro paywall and in Settings.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify entitlement status.

Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple, not by ZeroOrdinal. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The App is a reminder tool, not a medical, safety, or emergency service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroOrdinal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, missed reminders, or notification failures caused by system settings or device conditions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for Lightning Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires otherwise.
